We have been providing NHS diagnostic ultrasound examinations in Surrey since May 2008.We have 4 highly experienced sonographers and the service also has a Consultant Radiologist who undertakes the more specialised examinations and provides clinical governance. Dr Robert Davies: BSc MBBS MRCP FRCR
Dr Davies is our Consultant Radiologist. He has 29 years experience in radiology.
His interests are in ultrasound and interventional radiology
Rachel Ford – Sonographer BSc (Hons), PgD, PgcHE
I qualified as a Diagnostic Radiographer in 1998 from the University of Portsmouth and returned to university to gain a postgraduate certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging in 2000. I then chose to specialise in Ultrasound and qualified as a Sonographer in 2002 from the University of Hertfordshire.
After five years working full time in the NHS I took up the post of Senior Lecturer at London South Bank University in 2007 and a year later I became Course Director for Ultrasound for four years. During this time I continued to work in clinical performing abdominal, gynaecological, small parts and vascular ultrasound on a weekly basis with InsideVue.
My specialist area of interest is in vascular ultrasound and while working as a University lecturer I developed a vascular module as an addition to the existing syllabus. As well as working for Insidevue I work on an ad hoc basis as a Clinical Visitor for the ultrasound programme at King’s College in London.
Mrs Andrea Freimanis, BSc Hons.Diagnostic Radiography, PG Dip. Medical Ultrasound.
Originally qualified as a Radiographer in 2000 at Portsmouth University, and then proceeded to gain a qualification in Medical Ultrasound at City University, London in 2004. Has experience in many areas of ultrasound with a special interest in Gynaecology imaging.
Mr Ryan Kiss: BRadMedImag(Hons), GradDip Medical Ultrasound.
Ryan obtained his ultrasound qualification at Monash University, Australia in 2007. Prior to moving to the UK in late 2015 he held the position of Ultrasound Supervisor at St Vincent's Private Hospital, East Melbourne. Ryan is qualified in all areas of ultrasound. Having an extensive sporting background he has a particular interest in musculoskeletal imaging and has presented at several national conferences on ultrasound of the upper limb
Kristal Miller, BSc Diag. Radiography, MSc Advanced Musculoskeletal Imaging, PgD Medical Ultrasound, PgC Vascular Ultrasound.
Qualified as a sonographer since 2003, and currently working as an NHS Consultant Sonographer, with extensive experience in all areas of medical ultrasound.
Particular interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound and image-guided injection therapy, in addition to being a clinical tutor at the University of Essex.
